A strong emphasis is placed on working with pre-loved, vintage and second-hand materials in great condition — especially when using materials of animal origin such as leather or silk to make sure no living being has to suffer for ones self expression. 

Choosing existing pieces over newly produced ones is both a conscious sustainability decision and a creative one, making sure every item is as individual as the person wearing it.
