We spent April in Croatia, because we craved some Mediterranean atmosphere around us while being able to really focus on work. 

There’s something beautiful about working on a shared project as a couple — having the same vision, creating something together, and seeing an idea slowly come to life. But it also comes with its own challenges. When both of us are deeply invested in a project, it’s easy for work to become the center of everything. So our time in Croatia was also a little challenge to ourselves: to remember to close the laptops, go outside, explore the area, cook together and actually enjoy being there instead of just working from a different location.

Finding that balance wasn’t always easy, but I think that’s exactly what this time taught us. Being able to work from somewhere beautiful is a privilege — but you still have to make the conscious decision to be in balance and take advantage of the changing surroundings.
