I’ve never been to Luxembourg before, so we decided it was about time. The city is quite charming — lots of historic buildings, with nature woven all around and even into the city itself. Public transport is completely free, and you can also explore everything on foot if you don’t mind a bit of exertion, since the city is built on different levels. We also took the car to MULLERTHAL for a hike, which is only 30 minutes from city center.
On the first evening, we went to a niche indie theatre TOL to watch the play THIS IS SCAM. It was really good — humorous, critical, feminist, entertaining, and very much in tune with the current zeitgeist.
Another highlight the next day was visiting MUDAM. We almost spent the entire day there, moving through the exhibitions, even joining a small workshop, and having amazing food at the museum café. They’re currently showing two exhibitions with very different approaches — breathtaking textile works by Igshaan Adams and more critical, reflective yet playful pieces by Simon Fujiwara.
We had dinner at MAMA SHELTER, which turned out to be the perfect choice. Their concept blends food and party — a DJ was playing, the pizza was amazing, and the vibe even better. We ended up dancing between the tables, and it was a plus that we were staying at the hotel, so we didn’t had a long way home.

"i just f*cking love nostalgia"
