I (again) made it to LEUCHTENDROTER, a vegan restaurant based in Frankfurt serving a seven-course menu in the evening. The concept is basically casual fine dining — beautiful ingredients, creative plates, and a lot of thought put into how everything comes together.

The food itself was definitely good, and I really appreciated the quality and selection of the ingredients. Still, I have to admit that the experience didn’t completely convince me. The service felt a little too stiff and lacked the warmth and humor thats usually completes the experince. 

That being said, I still think it was a really nice evenening and I wouldn’t rule out coming back at some point. It just wasn’t quite the 10/10 experience I had hoped for.

PS: since its a tiny and quite dark eating area, i didnt want to bother other guests with my flash while photographing. So please enjoy our faces instead.
